Scenario arcade is a new training feature in the works! Scenario arcade will provide you many different scenarios to try out. Each scenario will be created by another user on Pilot Approach and approved by an instructor.
Each scenario will give you information on a specific scenario. You will then have to use the resources provided to decide what you will do next. The scenario will then change based on your answers.
There will be three different scenario types:
The adventure mode may not have any training value. However, the creator of adventure scenarios just wants to make an enjoyable story-like scenario you can play through. For example, someone may create a scenario that starts out with your aircraft going down in a snowy forest, and perhaps all you have is a hatchet. Then the scenario could walk you through your story on how you make your great escape!
These scenarios will all be focused on instrument training knowledge, but it will make learning fun. It will help you practice your decision-making and exercise your instrument knowledge.
One scenario creators might make is a lost comms scenario. This will challenge you to practice instrument procedures when you lose radio contact.
