Quizzes is a new training feature, and it is currently under development! Scenario arcade will provide you many different scenarios to try out. Each scenario will be created by another user on Pilot Approach and approved by an instructor.
What will make this system unique?
- Confidence Checking - When you answer each question, you will have to select how confident you are. Your confidence level will help track what areas you know, what areas you don't know, and what areas you think you know. It is more dangerous for a pilot to think they are right and actually be wrong.
- Created by CFIs - Each question is created by a CFI on our system. The question must then be approved by our admins or multiple CFIs.
- Challenging Answers - The questions will have more answer choices than A, B, C as seen on FAA written. Also, some questions let you enter any input. This will force you to learn the information needed for the question rather than memorizing answers. It will also help prevent guessing, and guessing is bad when it comes to real flying.
- Explanations - Each answer choice and question will have an explanation, and the creator of each question can also link additional training resources if you are confused about something.
The goal of quiz mode is to help you become the most knowledgeable pilot you can be. This will help you prepare for the written and the oral portion of the checkride. This will also be a great tool for those who haven't flown IFR in awhile.
